I am the oldest of 5. 4 girls 1 boy. Was born in Thibodaux.

Interests: my kids, and family, spreading awareness of childhood cancer/getting more attention for reseach.

TV: CSI all of em, Law & Order, House, and 24 when it's on.

Music- country, chrisitan, everything else too.

Movies-comedies, dramas, love stores, some action flicks.

Occupation: MOM. , and AVON ISR to keep me busy and allow for my AVON habit

Books: BIBLE, mysteries, Tami Hoag, and Patricia Cornwell.

Rob, my husband and Meechie's dad, is the middle child of 3 boys. 

He was born in DC. Moved  here for me in 02 ...

We met in the Navy. Been married for soon to  be 5 years in Nov. Together for 10 in Nov.

We have a total of 7 children together...Meechie being the eldest of the 7, 2 other tiny angels in heaven: Isaac and "Angel" and now a baby boy on the way due on New Year's Eve, Ahren is 6, Cullen is 4, and Simeon is 22 months

I have been having some really really rough times with Meechie not being here. The other day I even called for him to help me with something. Hmmm how odd was that? Do you know how long it's been since I've even been able to ask him to help me with something? where that came from I haven't a clue. The boys just kinda looked at me, but thankfully didn't say anything. There's not a day that goes by where I do not cry. This pain does NOT get any better you just kinda learn how to deal with it. The boys too are struggling. Ahren I think a little more than Cullen. He has a bereavement camp through hospice Saturday, and I pray it helps him. Yesterday my mom watched them for my Dr appt, and she was watching 'Micheal' You know, the movie with John Travolta being an angel. Well, she said that Ahren asked her to change it because Meechie didn't just grow wings and come back, and it's not fair.

NO ONE CALLED FROM THE WHITE HOUSE TODAY TO SAY THAT THE  PRESIDENT WAS MAKING THIS A HOLIDAY! FOR THE REST OF THE WORLD IT WAS JUST ANOTHER DAY !!  FOR US, IT'S ANOTHER DAY WITHOUT OUR MEECHIE!!

WE NEED TO CHANGE THAT!!  ONE DIAGNOSIS AT A TIME!!
